Post Crazy!

So, as you can see...I just played catch up on posting!!! I've had so many pictures waiting to be posted, just finding the time to do it is the problem. Now that I am back at work full-time, it's so hard to find the time to keep up. That's what I now do on Friday nights!! Haha. How my life has changed?! But, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love my new life with my beautiful baby daughter!

Finally Ready for the Bouncer!

I've had this bouncer put together for a month or so...just waiting for Linkyn to be able to use it. Although she isn't quite ready for it yet...she d0es enjoy it for at least 10 mintues or so. Her feet don't touch the floor all the way (just one foot only and she has to lean to one side). She sure does know how to smile for the camera though!!!

River Trip (continued)!

This is at dinner after a day on the river. We sort of play "pass the baby" now. She doesn't sleep through dinner like she used to. She likes a lot of attention and of course she loves to be held!! We're taking advantage of holding her now because we know that one day she won't want us to hold her anymore. Mommy and Linkyn...

First River Trip!

Last weekend was Linkyn Ann's very first River Trip! She did great. We lathered her up in sunblock SPF 50 and went for it. It was super hot, but not 120. Haha...it was like 105 or so. Still a hot one! We bought her an infant life jacket and put it on (hoping she wouldn't freak out). She was so cute on her first boat ride. She faced me on the boat and sort of held on to me. Her eyes were so big as the wind blew through her hair (okay I know my kid has a lot of hair!). She was probably thinking where am I and what am I doing? We parked the boat at a little beach that we usually go to and there we camped. Linkyn was able to hang out for a couple of hours (partially on land - see picture of her in her cool raft with sunshade and partially on boat) before she began to become fussy. Which I don't blame her...I would be too in that kind of heat. So we packed up and went up river to my Oma and Bapa's house where we could enjoy the A/C. They have a really cool pad, it's on the river, so all you have to do is pull up and dock the boat and there you are. As you can see by the last picture...that's when we were in the A/C house and Linkyn was a happy camper. I think we are going to hold off on the river until the end of August beginning of September...it's way too HOT! Next summer will be a better age.

This is one of Linkyn's hot grandmas! This one is my mom. She is being called Oma Linda. She is a great Oma and Linkyn absolutely adores her.

OUR ANGEL BABY!

I thought this was the cutest onesie I've ever seen! My Oma (grandma in dutch) picked it up for Linkyn. It says Grandma's Angel on the front and on the back it has angel wings that attach via a button. It's so cute...I just had to get a few shots of her in it.

Baby Savannah and Link!

Baby Savannah was actually sleeping in this picture, but Link wanted to play. Linkyn and Savannah are about 3-1/2 weeks apart. This is my friend Nicole's baby. Isn't she just a doll?!

Another Beach Day!

This was Linkyn's second trip to the beach and she LOVED it again. She was just having a great time kicking her feet in the air. I think it has something to do with that great ocean breeze and soothing sound of the ocean.

And of course, she had no problem taking her nap out on the sand.

Just Playing!

We have a lot of fun around here. Always busy doing something to keep Miss Linkyn occupied. I prop up pillows for Linkyn to lean up against and then we have a party with the stuffed animals! She seems to be enjoying herself.
I just can't get over Linkyn. She is so amazing and not one day goes by that I don't think I'm the luckiest girl in the world! I love being Linkyn's Mom!

These pictures were so fun to take with Linkyn because she is so crazy! I love the one of me and her (1st one). She looks older in that picture! The second picture is of Link and Aunt Tawnya. This was two weekends ago at my cousin Cheryl's baby shower. It was in Santa Barbara on the beach...very neat location for a baby shower!

All Giggles!

Haha. I laugh because she really wasn't all giggles! We just happened to get her to giggle in this picture, but she was a real grumpy butt that day. My sister and I had lunch at CPK at Victoria Gardens last Saturday and boy was she a lot of work at lunchtime! It was her nap time and we thought she would sleep through lunch in her stroller, but we were wrong! She does look pretty cute though in her hawaiian outfit that Aunt Tawnya bought her while honeymooning in Hawaii a few weeks back!
