Happy Halloween!

So, I hope you can tell what my kid is for Halloween?! She is Dora the Explorer! Very easy costume! Already had the shoes, shorts (actually a skort), and t-shirt! All that I bought was the back pack and the yellow socks! Linkyn LOVES Dora and can spot anything that has DORA on it within seconds! For example, she saw Dora on the Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup can! Are you kidding me?! She also saw her on the Yoplait yogurts!!!!!!! She loves her new back pack, which she says "Pack" and she also says "Map." If you aren't familiar with the show, there's a song for the back pack and the map!

And now that we have Payton in the family I am sure there will be more cousin photo sessions! What a cute butterfly, huh?! She wasn't too happy about being in this costume today, but that's okay we got our picture and are happy!

19-month photo shoot

Today I took Linkyn to get her 18 month old photos (well now she's 19 months!). I used to think that taking photos was easy. Boy, was I mistaken! Linkyn was not very cooperative to say the least. I was so frustrated at the end of the session that I wanted to just go home (and so did my sister!). We all went together and between Payton crying and Linkyn being a crazy toddler we were both done and ended our outing a bit early today!

I really like this top photo and so I ordered the most of this one. I tried Sears portraits out for this one and I wasn't too impressed. I am not sure if it was the photographer or my child! She just wasn't very good at keeping Linkyn's attention at all! She really didn't snap that many pictures either. I am not sure if I will go there again.

I like the photo below because it shows all of her outfit, which I was very excited about! Isn't it cute!!! New mary janes, tutu-ish skirt, and a darling shirt!

Pumpkin Patch!

We did our new annual tradition of visiting the Pumpkin Patch off of the 15 fwy tonight. We met some friends and my sister, Will, and Payton, and their friends as well. We pet and fed animals (the piglets were our favorite), went on a quad ride (once with Mommy and once with Daddy), took lots of pictures, made new friends, jumped in a bouncer, went in a bouncer maze with Uncle Will, and went down a huge slide!!! Pumpkin patch + all of the above - dirt under the finger nails = A GREAT TIME!

San Diego Zoo

We took Linkyn to the San Diego Zoo towards the end of September. We have been wanting to go for awhile now as a family funday! She wasn't feeling too hot that day, but still managed to have a good time. She also thought that every animal was a "doggie" - LOL!

Ami & Justin's Wedding

Ami and Justin's wedding was so much fun! Maybe the added touch of getting to walk down the aisle with my hubby was partly reason, but of course these friends of ours are AWESOME! It was a great day to share with them and be a part of! We are so happy for them!

Enjoying soft serve in a cone on Main Street in HB

This was back in September. We took a trip to Newport Dunes and rode bikes to HB. We got her an ice cream to cool down. She was sitting on a curb next to one of the shops on Main Street, just enjoying herself and her ice cream, of course.

Carousel at Fashion Island

Linkyn loves the carousel at Fashion Island. My parents first took her on this back in August. I took her on it again in September. She is just so amused by all of the people standing on the outskirts watching her as she goes round and round. I love that she finds things like this so entertaining. It melts my heart. I just love this little girl so much!
