Beach Day...Finally!

We went to the beach today (Friday)! It was so nice out. Linkyn loved the sound of the ocean and the cool ocean breeze. We will definitely be making more trips to the beach this summer. She did so good. I am a proud Mama!

Tummy Time on Daddy!!!

Part of Linkyn's daily night time ritual is tummy time on Daddy! It doesn't work so well on me ;) (I'm sure you can figure out why!). And then as you can see in the last photo, we practice sitting up as well. She'll stick in one of these days! We hold her shoulders for her!

Going Back to Work...I've Got the BLUES :(

I have to go back to work on Monday! I am so sad! I am sure Linkyn will be just fine, as she will be babysat by my Mom (Oma Linda) and Neal's Mom (Abi - short for Abuela). I just don't want to miss anything that she may learn to do...I swear she is going to roll over within the next few weeks. She gets stuck on her side right now. Just needs a little more of a push and she'll be on her tummy!

Linkyn's Got Friends!

The first picture is of Linkyn and Taylor! This was taken on Wednesday before our fun-filled day. We went to Fashion Island and to The District! Linkyn was pretty exhausted after that day. I don't know about Taylor...she slept all day! This is the only time we got to see her pretty eyes open! The second picture is of Linkyn and Caleb! This was taken today (Friday). After lunch at Citrus City Grille and a brief trip to Chick's Sporting Goods (to buy their very first life jackets!), they were ready for picture time! We were supposed to meet Randy Couture (UFC fighter), but the line was LONG! Maybe next time!
