Madonna

I'm going to see Madonna in concert at Dodger Stadium on November 6 with Darlene! I'm so excited. I would say that I am not a huge Madonna fan, but over my vacation, I read "Life with my sister Madonna" by Christoper Ciccone. I'm actually still reading it - LoL! It's a very juicy book coming from the view point of Christopher (Madonna's little brother). If I had more time I would probably have finished it by now. I will finish it this weekend!!! After reading what I have read so far, I am so excited to go and see her in concert. I've heard that she puts on an amazing show. Of course, I'm into celebrity gossip. So, when I heard that her and Guy Ritchie are getting a divorce, I was like, "Oh my gosh!" You have to read the book - the things I learned about Madonna so far, are "WOW"! Anyways...

The end of the Cabo Pics!

Another attempt to get a nice family picture with our daughter looking at the camera. Another attempt failed! She just did not want to give us a good look at the camera. The one above is the best one!
A little dark, but this is the picture of the entire gang!
At The Office, Linkyn laughing at she rides on her Aunt Tawni's neck.
This is the crib that Linkyn hung out in and slept in. She fell over a few times and hit her head. She mastered sitting up from there on and now is fully sitting up! Yay!
Just a quick snap shot of me and my girl!

Hope you enjoyed our pictures! Wish we were still there. It was an amazing time and I will not forget a moment of it.

Cabo San Lucas 2008 (continued)

My parents!!! Thanks for an amazing trip!
We brought along the Floppy Seat! What a savior it was! We used it almost every night. I'm sure Linkyn is sick of it! Haha.
Must be nice to get to play with a Louis Vutton! This is the day we left to go home!
At The Office on the sand!

So, as you can see, these pictures aren't in any particular order!!!

Cabo San Lucas 2008 (continued)

I don't know if you can tell or not, but this picture is on the airplane. We have the window seat. Linkyn and I had to share a seat. Boy was that fun! She defintely needs her own seat. She was all over me the entire flight there and the entire flight back. Thank God it's only a two hour flight!!!
Grandpa Jim and a Modelo Light! She was just feeling how cold it was.
This was the pool! There was a nice area to sit in the pool where Linkyn could stand up and enjoy herself. She usually ended up without her bathing suit on because her bathing suits were a little small. We tried to find her a few new ones before we left, but bathing suits were no where to be found at the end of September. She does have a nice tan now!
Staying Cool in Cabo hat! She finally got used to wearing a hat. We would put it on her head and she would take it off!!! We played that game a lot!
On Medano Beach (the main beach in Cabo on the Sea of Cortez) with her Oma Linda!

A few more posts to follow!

Cabo San Lucas 2008

This is the first day we arrived. We had lunch at the Mango Deck right in front of our hotel.
Linkyn fell asleep at dinner. Just a sweet picture! It's not often anymore that she actually likes to fall asleep on me. When she does though, I'm in heaven!
Just another night at dinner. We ate at an Italian food restaurant this night and it was delicious! I ordered gnocchi and my sister ordered the lobster ravioli and we split it!
It was impossible to get Linkyn to look at the camera in this picture and a few others that we took (same pose). This was the best one.

We just got back from a wonderful week long vacation in Cabo San Lucas. Everything about the trip was absolutely amazing and wonderful. Of course, this trip was not the same as prior trips for myself or Neal, but we still managed to get out on the town at least once. My parents and my sister and her husband were there as well. Thank you everyone for helping me out with Linkyn as well. I couldn't have done it without all of you! Everyone pitched in and made it an enjoyable trip. Here are a few pictures from our trip. Enjoy!

28 weeks = 7 months!

Okay, so for those of you that count age according to weeks. Linkyn turned 28 weeks today! So, 7 months, if you do the 4 weeks per month rule. I think I will probably stop counting the weeks now, so everyone doesn't think I'm crazy. Hehe.

6 Month Photo Shoot

I got this dress from my Oma at my baby shower and thought it would be perfect for this special picture occassion.
This is Linkyn's new Juicy Couture outfit. Compliments of Oma Linda. I of course do not buy her those outfits...hehe.
She was supposed to be holding the rose, but she wanted to eat it instead. Wonder how many other kids did the same thing. Ewww. Owell gotta build up the immune system, right?

See all of her cute little poses in the circles. If I would of bought this sheet it would of cost me $30! Versus $3.99 per sheet for traditional type pictures.
Pretty princess! We (me, sis, and my mom) took Linkyn Ann to get her 6 month pictures taken on September 12. Finally we have the pictures! I was so excited after I picked all the pictures out, went up to the cash register to pay, and then she told me to come back in two weeks to pick up the actual prints. I guess that's how it works at JC Penney. However, I did pay the extra $4.99 to get the pictures sent to me via email within 7 to 10 days. So, at least I have these ones to look at for now. I can't wait until this friday to go pick up the prints. All of Linkyn's grandparents have been waiting for wallets, 8x10s, etc! Now I need to go and buy some frames for all of these beautiful pictures! She was quite photogenic that day. Hehe. I'm turning into that crazy mom that won't stop talking about her kid.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY and HAPPY 6 MONTHS LINKY!

On September 10, I got to celebrate my birthday being a MOMMY this year and we also celebrated Linkyn's "official" 6 month birthday (she was born March 10). We went to Rosinne's Mediterranean Grille and it was delicious. Linkyn now sits in high chairs and grocery carts in her floppy seat of course. It was a great day!

Labor Day Weekend

Family photo time!
This is the cool crab raft. She has a cute lady bug one too, but that one will have to wait until she is a little older. It's for big kids.
Linkyn hanging with the girls. She's trying to get a tan. Ha. She doesn't need one. She's just like my Mom naturally golden and beautiful!
Linkyn splashing around in the water with her Daddy.
Linkyn's already driving! Thanks Grandpa Jim!
~We took Linkyn on her second river trip! This time was a lot better for her. The weather was so nice. It was cloudy and so much cooler than it usually is. Linkyn enjoyed this trip much better than her last trip. She went in the water on the lake, floated in her crab raft, and enjoyed time with her family.~

24 weeks on Monday, August 25th!

Linkyn turned 24 weeks on Monday, August 25th! She is getting so old! I can't believe it! If you do it my way, 24 weeks divided by 4 weeks per month then she is 6 months. But, yes I know there are 52 weeks in a year. So for those of you that do it that way, I see your point also. In my eyes...she's 6 months! Half way to her 1st birthday. Unreal! I better start planning that 1st birthday already! Hehe. It's going to be spectacular.
